Hiking is a great way to get out and explore nature.  While I am never far from my cameras, hiking does allow time to disconnect from all the electronics in modern day society.  Be it an afternoon hike through a local trail, or week long adventure through a foreign country, hiking can be a great way to clear the mind and recharge the soul.
